WOCEE Redefines Eco-Friendly Ways to Daily Commute

With innovative usage of renewable resources and electricity, today’s modern transportation alternatives continue to spark change in the way we move and preserve the earth at the same time. Aside from saving the Earth and saving your wallet, going for an eco-friendly transportation alternative is also extremely convenient, with lower maintenance needs and greater safety- but did you know that

To help you find the perfect e-vehicle for you, the World of Consumer Electronics Expo (WOCEE) happening on September 26-29 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila lists tips to save the Earth. Shave time off your daily commute and make travelling convenient at the same time with these different e-vehicle alternatives:

Two fresh takes on a childhood classic: The INOKIM Mini Electric Scooter and the DYU Seated E-Scooter.

Remember when you used to glide back and forth on the streets of your village on your Razor scooter? Well, this time you can expand your horizons and cover the whole city as well with the latest portable e-scooter models courtesy of INOKIM and DYU.

The INOKIM Mini is the latest from Israeli-based e-vehicle powerhouse MYWAY, who is best known for their major contributions to the sustainable transportation industry. At only 8.5 kilograms, the Inokim Mini is easy to bring around, yet durable and rugged enough to take on the bumps and cracks of the city roads; couple the Mini’s lightweight nature with a 200-watt motor that can get a rider up to speeds of 20 kilometers an hour and you have the perfect package for the professional on the go. (Php 33,000.00)

On the other hand, if you’re looking for an option that can hit maximum comfort and convenience at the same time, then the DYU Seater E-Scooter is an option worth scoring. The seated e-scooter blends comfort, fun, and practicality in one ergonomically-designed package that can go both ways, either as a scooter or an e-bike. (Php 25,000.00)

Redefining the tricycle as we know it: DECC’s latest e-trike models

If there was any way that the Philippine tricycle could be made 10 times better, it would probably be to make it even more eco-friendly, especially with the huge volume of tricycles on the road. Thankfully, the bright minds at DECC have made it much easier to move from point A to point B with a few extra passengers while cutting out the need for petroleum COMPLETELY.

DECC’s eco-friendly e-trike options come in two varieties: the DECC SEV 1.0 which is best suited for personal use, and the DECC E-SIX that’s geared towards providing more green public transportation options. The SEV 1.0 (Php 165,000.00) comes in a more compact body and a battery for personal use that can run for 6 to 10 hours, making it the perfect option for anybody trying to go to and from the market in a more sustainable fashion. On the other hand, the E-SIX is the SEV 1.0’s bigger brother, capable of carrying an additional 2 to 4 passengers with a 12 to 16 hour battery life that can take on more demanding commutes.

Aside from the e-transportation alternatives that we’ve already mentioned in this article, other models such as the heavy-duty Segway I2 SE Patroller and stylish Ninebot Elite PTR can be found at the next edition of the World of Consumer Electronics Expo (WOCEE)!
